KVP 200W Box Mod review

i was sent this KVP 200W Box Mod from GearBest for the purpose of reviewing i did do a search myself but at the time did not find any reviews n this device so i decided i would do one overall this is a very light weight device even with 2 18650 batteries installed

this comes in a box that has a pull out side draw inside the box you get the mod and manual only so below we will take a close look at this mod and how it performs on daily usage i know that GearBest site listed this as a TC mod but this one is in fact not a TC device

Material: Aluminum
Variable wattage: 10 – 200W
Variable voltage: 7.4 – 9V

the battery door is held on by magnets 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom looking inside the mod where the batteries insert first thing i saw was hot glue strings which is not a big deal easy removed i also noticed that inside the battery holder itself users could get confused on how batteries get inserted as both positives point the same way with marking but they do have the marking printed on the case of device in silver which can be scratched off

this does have the standard 510 threaded connection  with a spring-loaded pin that sits flush against the shell the base of the mod has the battery vents to help keep the device cool you also have a little notch to help remove battery cover

20160116_174816this has 3 nice button fire up and down but they do rattle quite a bit also they are backwards compared to most devices and there is no option to flip the screen to revert the up and down buttons so when you normally press the top button for up you are decreasing wattage and down button increases wattage

20160122_00220820160122_002201you can lock the buttons by pressing and holding the up and down buttons at the same time to unlock again press and hold the up and down buttons if you press fire button while locked device asks you to unlock

the screen displays volts Ohm of current atomizer wattage battery level and internal temperature of device i found at times when firing at higher temps over 60w that the screen has a glitch and the numbers seem like they are split in half

overall for the price of this device it’s not a bad device works good on all tests i done with this mod apart from a few issues i found with the buttons being backwards which is confusing and no option to reverse those and the battery ribbon pulls out of the slot easy when removing batteries the buttons have a rattle when device is tilted  or shaken like a loose screw inside moving around when using on higher wattage the screen display becomes off set when fire button is pressed for me this is not a device i see myself using on a daily basis it just has that cheap look and feel about it
